2001 rancher blowing fuses

I have a 2001 manual shift rancher 4x4.
After running a while light fuse blows. Motor continues to run but once shut off will not re-start. Found that the lights fuse is blown. Also found that if I remove the fan fuse I no longer blow light fuse. Have checked battery for power and I am getting a good charge. What is the problem?

This doesn't add up. You're saying that while the light fuse is blown or pulled out, the engine won't start? Can you verify that by starting the machine, then cut it off, and pull the light fuse. Will it start?

Unplug the fan, and pull the light fuse, and then check resistance between the fan and the light circuit. Sounds like you have a low resistance short.

What is the problem?
Ouija Board and crystal ball are both on the fritz, so unfortunately you're going to have to troubleshoot it.
