Is there a car or truck shock that fits the one on the rear?
Hard to swallow getting a $100 one.... I've put a basket that hangs out past the rear rack and then hangs below on my rancher and it weighs about 30-40lbs. with nothing in it and the rear of the rancher looks like it's got some weight without any weight in the basket. The old rear shock does fine but I can see if I would haul out a dead deer in the basket with the added weight I might have a problem going up some of my very steep hills. Only asking if anyone has ever matched up a light duty car or small truck shock to there rancher on the rear.

Try getting a longer ATV shock, or remove the spring and install a heavy schedule PVC spacer on the spring.

Highlifter springs also work great to stiffen up the suspension and keep it from sagging.

My fix for what you describe would probably be both. HL spring and a small PVC spacer

Where are you in Arkansas? I'm over east by Helena. Shadetree is in NLR.
