The dial selector on the dashboard keeps flashing all the gear selections

Flashing gear indicator means there is a fault in the Hondamatic transmission, or a fault in one of the sensor circuits. You'll have to read section 23 of the factory service manual to check for any stored DTCs (trouble codes) and follow the diagnostics steps given for each code retrieved.
