I have a 2001 foreman 450 es that just started making a grinding sound in the left front if you are sitting on it looking forward, Does this sound like a CV joint/shaft and if so would it be considered left side shaft. I checked the the front diff fluid and it is full and the bearings seem good although just put new bearing in left front and seemed to still have a little slack after replacing but slack seems to be in the back were the shft enters.
Thanks for any help

A few things mine did was it slipped when under a lot of stress, like when going down a large hill and pulling the front brakes I could feel it slip. It also had a clunk clunk clunk noise when turning very sharply.

If you can get all four off the ground and turn the whils by hand you may be able to track the nois down like that and also turn the whills sharp one way or the other and tyrn them by hand a listen to the cv joints for noise or feal a catch if they are bad enough. Thats just my worthles 2cents worth.
