Picked up a 300ex. No spark, but turns over. I grounded out both the reverse switch and the neutral switch at harness near battery. Engine starts, but doesn’t rev up. Seems to be limited, like it’s in reverse Limited mode.
if I unground (open) the reverse switch off, it doesn’t turn over. Same with neutral. Although neutral and reverse switch show 0 ohms on multimeter, the are not allowing reverse limiter to provide spark.
whats Causing it to inhibit? How do I get some revs out of this machine?
