Just bought a 2000 trx300ex and was wondering if anybody has made a diy air box. Don't really care to spend a fortune on one eBay. If anybody has I would like to see pictures of what you've done. Thanks in advance

Any reason why you are replacing it? If you're looking for better airflow you can either cut holes in the lid or replace it with a mesh cover (Pic below) The aluminum air box is my old on that I use to have on a Yamaha Grizzly.

Yeah making a diy airbox requires the skill of welding aluminum which i dont have. And to have a custom one made would be triple what the ones on ebay cost. Just not feasable. Unless your making it out of plastic which then requires a whole different set of skills. My .02
