2000 honda recon rear end

okay guys i'm new to the forum. i just bought a 2000 recon for $300 bucks done some carb cleaning and other maintence and got it running but the rearend is making a horrible noise and i was thinking about replacing it. a buddy of mine has a 05 foreman rearend i was curious if anyone has done this kind of swap or if its even possible? thanks for all your help

thanks for all the love and thanks for the help i'm gonna tear it apart tomorrow and see if i can rebuild it i guess i'll put pics up tommorrow of my 300 dollar submarine in the making...haha
