Hello all and thanks for letting me join.

I have a 2000 Honda Foreman ES that needs a new front tire as the existing one is dry-rotting.
The spec for this model shows it should use a 25x8-12, but there are Spider Trac 26x9.5-12 tires on it now.

I don't know much about tires for 4-wheelers, but I can't find any replacements in the 26x9.5-12 size...I don't even think the Spider Trac tires are made any longer.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I got 25x8-12 replacement tires, wouldn't I need to change out the wheels to fit these?
And wouldn't I need to also change the rear to match some ratio so I wouldn't tear up the 4WD?

Any advise would be appreciated, as I'm little better than clueless for this.

Thanks,
Jim

If you have one dry rotten tire, then what is the condition of all the others? Reason for asking, this may be a good time to consider a set, so they are matching/correct for the unit. I would avoid having mismatched tires as well as sizes on the unit.....
