does this model even show the gear position on the display screen. it is digital and the time and speed shows and I find it odd there is no gear position showing. if it is suppose to show is it possible its the gear position sensor.

pretty sure that year model does no show gear position. if it was suppose too ?, you would see the letter g or gear words above the gear position. some of the early trx450's never showed the gear position, then later years ( I know my '03 trx450fm does ) shows gear position.
