On front in middle under the 'nose" of the plastic of Honda TRX400EX, there is what appears to be a mounting bracket and adjustable strap?
Anyone know what it is for?
I looked in owner's manual and Honda repair manual, and parts microfiche, and don't see this listed anywhere!

I suggest taking a picture. Could be a steering stabalizer. Or some sort of a lowering strap for drag racing? I would bet its not an oem part so it wouldnt be on a diagram anywhere. My .02

friend I go riding with told me it is an enduro water bottle carrier, back in the day would be located on cross-bar of handlebar, it has recess in bottle and strap that holds it down, God only who knows why someone would locate it on frame under nose

Hmm that is very odd. I would wonder why on a 400ex? Confusing.
