Welcome to the forums. On the left side of the engin there is two plugs one is to turn the engin and the other is a timing mark T But not sure witch way to rotate the engin to get it at TDC Someone will give better advice than me shortley.
1999 trx300fw timing chain
I'm trying to put my timing chain back on the gear and onto the camshaft but I believe we accidentally moved the bottom gear and now the timing could be off...How can i check to see if the bottom gear is in the right position. Any answers would be helpful...thanks ahead of time.....

piston TDC. Thats were the timing mark comes in to play The cam should have marks to help line every thing up
