Your "aftermarket" CDI is a cheap china knockoff. It will never work on your bike. It will also fry other electric components on the bike if you keep trying to use it. You wasted your money and time... you'll need to buy an OEM Honda CDI (or a Genuine Ricks, which are NOT for sale anywhere except their own website) to fix it. Welcome to the forums!
1997 honda trx 300 2w
hi, i have a honda 300 trx lose fire i have replaced stators and pick up coil with ome new cdi and coil when i leave my neutral wire on the switch it want fire. i take it off and i can kick start it and it runs put wire on switch it kills it .i put new neutral switch in and still does the same.the cdi box is a after market one.as long is the neutral switch wire is not pluged in i can kick start and it runs great...i have been working on this for a long time ...i hope someone can help me thank you
