New to the forum - which I guess means I need help! I've been working on overhauling my front brake system on my 1996 TRX 300 2 wheel drive. During the process, I removed the brake panels to clean them and make disassembly of the wheel cylinder easier since I was replacing them. The issue I have now is that I read where the flange bolts aren't supposed to be reused. Why not? Is this just due to the waterproof thread coating? I put gasket seal on the threads when I reinstalled them. Is there a greater mechanical rest of failure now with the bolts? I looked for replacement bolts on line including partzilla and no one seems to sell them. What's the risk if any? Thanks for the help.
