Hey guys I’m having a really hard time locating this part and I’m wondering if anyone could help me out. Every place I called said the part wasn’t available anymore and they didn’t sell used parts. I’ve looked on eBay but I’m really uncertain and think I might choose the wrong part. Also, I’m not sure if I could use a different year Honda and get the part and use it.

Oh man do I have a site for you, type in Partzilla on your browser and you will be blown away. Select you quad and look for the compartment thay part goes to. (Carburetor) and you will see the whole carb assembly and numbers of the part. If you can't find it under carb then try what it connects to. (So just an example if it was an airbox to carb boot you could check airbox next) I've used it so many times when I didn't know the name of a part and needed it.

If you find it, you may wanna try typing that part name exactly into amazon or ebay and see if someone else has it cheaper but be sure it's OEM. Good thing about partzilla is their parts are OEM.

Thanks! I have to say I’m really ignorant when it comes to atv or even vehicle repairs. I’m really not sure what it connects to as I have a buddy working on it. From the pictures I’ve looked it it looks like it goes inside a whole in the front of the carburetor but I could be wrong. I’m going to check out that site and see what I can find. I’ve just been really frustrated because I bought this quad 8 months ago for my two boys and I haven’t made any progress in getting it fixed. Before the part was taken off the quad would run but it wouldn’t idle. Thanks again for your help. Just thought of something else? If I can’t find that specific part and I purchased a carburetor would the part that I need be included?

My bad man, I may have just mislead you. The part is unavailable, now you know the part name, maybe you can find it on ebay or Amazon. If it fits over hole right I don't see why you can't get it from another bike so I would try that. Maybe someone here can help you out further.

Thank you for your help. I was wondering the same or wondering if there is anyone who would be able to repair the broken part I all ready have.

That part fits your quad. I would purchase it if I were you. Way I found out was looked up the atv the part came from on partzilla and it said that, that part will also fit your 1995 Fourtrax so should work fine.
Thanks you!
Glad to help. And welcome to the forums!
Glad to be here. Any idea what a fair price would be if I had someone reupholster the seat? They would provide the material also.

Here’s a couple links: forums service manual and parts link in my sig block

You will know which model you have (DA) or (DAN) by your VIN.
Sometimes there are no differences other times there are subtle differences like carb or switch variations.

Like johnnysolo pointed out in this case the intake manifold may be the same for both models

Not sure. What I did for my quad was bought an ATV Seat cover. Like $35 and is indestructible haha. But under it the seat is little torn up ?

Depends upon the material and whether they have to replace the foam

Thanks. I’m not sure what material will be offered but some of the foam does need to be replaced. The back tires are no good so I’m guessing I’m going to have to buy a set of tires with rims included. I’m not sure what size will fit but I’m sure it will tell on google.

Not sure why this reply turned out like this?

Hey guys the part should be here Tuesday. I bought this quad for my 7 and 4 year old boys mainly. I paid 600 for it. Everything works besides the issue I’m fixing now. Is this a good quad for them or do you guys think I should sell it and get something else? I’m really not sure what it’s worth or if I got a good deal on it. I should’ve done my research beforehand but I was excited to get a quad for my boys and this will also be the first one I’ve ever owned. Thanks again for all your help guys.

If it runs and you got it for $600 I’d say you did alright. You will have problems finding new parts but I’m sure you can find used or NOS parts. If you want to work on the thing with the boys that might be fun; make sure they use good maintenance practices so they don’t get hurt. So gloves and goggles for solvent use, hearing protection for running the compressor, as well as constant supervision.

Get the service manual and only buy OEM parts. Follow the service interval and only use the fluids recommended–for instance these clutches do not like auto engine oil. Stop in to your local Honda shop and buy some product from them; great source of info too.

Your carb probably needs a cleaning or at least put some fresh gas and seafoam fuel system cleaner in the tank. Disco the hose from the petcock and drain the tank into a gas can.

Good idea to overhaul the carb–use an OEM gasket kit or a Shindy kit.

Edited this thing has a butterfly choke
