I was cleaning some dirt, debris, mud from battery compartment. Moved battery out, and after getting out the trash/debris, I noticed two small wires were not connected. I'm pretty sure they got pulled loose. They are a yellow/red wire and a green/red wire. The bike has been running fine. The bike is in neutral. I Turn the switch on, the red light comes on momentarily. The reverse light comes on, but the neutral light doesn't come on when I placed in neutral. The bike won't start. Any suggestions and can someone let me know where the yellow/red and the green/red wires connect too? Hoping this is a easy fix. I appreciate any advice and help. Thank you. Citywaterman

Those two broken wires belong to the broken plug connectors that plug into the starter solenoid. The starter will not crank over unless those are hooked up where they belong. You'll need to replace the harness (and solenoid if those plugs are missing/damaged) to fix it right.

You can get a copy of the service manual HERE to use while you fix up and maintain your bike.

Enjoy your work!

I really appreciate the quick reply and advice. Thank you for providing the service manuals, for now and future reference. I plan to replace parts and fix it right. I bought this Fourtrax used and have been slowly getting everything working properly. I bought this Fourtrax for my hunt club, get around work bike and deer/hog hauler. Thanks again, Citywaterman

Thanks Retro, I installed a new starter solenoid (ordered OEM solenoid). Easy install and back in the game. Installed a new SuperWinch and new rear brakes while I waited for solenoid. That was an enjoyable learning experience. Having a little difficulty adjusting the rear brakes, but I'll get it. Again, thanks for your help. Citywaterman
