I am sure some vets will notice my name and vehicle, but over last 4 years i have been on/off (mainly due to university) rebuilding a trx300fw i bought.

- rebuilt rear differential
- new rear axle
- led headlights
- led tail light
- led indicator lights (neutral, oil, reverse)
- fixed as much plastic as possible (zip tie method)
- de-bent bumper
- added a 2k lb winch
- 12" wheels
- front disk brake kit from superatv (still working on it. Not working perfictly)
- wire wheels and ruatoloim paited a lot of body (not sticking as well as i would have liked)
- changed all fluids
- adjusted valve spacing
- rebuilt carb

Here is a video of its first day offroad (3rd time that day)

Cheers to all those who helped.

Was just the color paint that i had available.

Could not find a decent paint that matched rest of atv.

You did a good job on the Hond-saki green , I thought it was a color I never seen before cause are you from Downunder ------ did you tape the decals or buy new ones , I was going to buy decals once and they want like 4 times more for the right than the left or maybe that was vice versa , if you taped them you did a good job

I just used tape and used rustolium "forest green" spray paint.

Decals are not a big thing for me so if they came off i am not paying to add more, but that were not so i taped them

Out of curiosity, what do you guys reccomend as a permanent paint coating?

I had to wire wheel off like 50% of the bikes original powder coating due to alot of rust.

The "industrial heavy duty" rustolium gloss black paint I used is not as resistant as i thought to scratching or rubbing.

Anyone got a better, more durable (yet cheap) recommendation? I heard about mixing "paint hardeners" in with other paint ts, but looking for other feedback.

Durable and cheap? You might try adding a catalyst to Implement paint from Tractor Supply. You'll need to prep (& prime) the surfaces perfectly beforehand though. Use a medium-heavy coat of self-etching primer over clean derusted steel. Sand lightly for a bond after it is dry, wash with prep-sol and shoot your parts. Allow them to fully cure for several days before handling them.
