Took my 1993 fourtrax ice fishing, She ran like a dream even in -9 degree temps! The only issue I have was the wind, i am looking for a windshield for my 1993 fourtrax does anybody have a suggestion or have actually has one on theirs? I've been looking but most say not compatible and some ads say will fit ATV with lower mounted headlights. Thanks in advance.

This is one i found:

I looked at the Bobcat fairing on my work 450S. It looks like it would fit on a first gen 300.
Except there isn’t a headlight so how do you cover the hole lol?
BTW i need to replace the windscreen—it’s severely pitted and the screws are all cracked

So I decided on the National Cycle Lexan ATV Windshield - Low Headlight N2573 available through Amazon for 130 bucks and change. It does a fantastic job! had it out on the ice 12 degrees cruising around 15mph and the wind was not and issue at all for a change! worked really good, I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for some cold wind protection at a fair price. It was extremely easy to install (10 minutes) taking my time. Thanks for all of the input and suggestions. I will update on the durability on it after a few months.

I had mine on all last winter, except for one quick trip at -20C. Windshield went back on the next day and has been on ever since.. the one for my 17 rubi has both mirrors also and the hole for the light...

Thank you @db1561 ! Just signed in the forum to say thanks :p I have the same machine and froze my face off last weekend on my lil blue (mine is blue). Thanks to you I'll be able to use my trusty companion all winter long now (I own a snowmobile but enjoy the little 4 way more to cruise around the cabin property). The link you provided takes me to the "National Cycle Lexan ATV Windshield Low Headlight for 1995-2010 Arctic Cat Thun" version. Seems like it's the same as the "National Cycle Lexan ATV Windshield - Low Headlight N2573 " you mentionned as in the item description it says N2573 it the item part number. I should be able to install it on the atv this weekend, I'll try to report back if all went well.

Cheers !
