Hoping someone can give me some advise or direction. First time riding/working with quads.
From what I understand to get this quad into reverse I have to pull in the clutch handle with the "reverse assist" engaged to be able to pull up on the reverse lever. Is this correct or is there more to it?
From reading the manual I see the reverse assist cable connects to the reverse selector shaft. I do not know this process or how this all functions. But in my case the reverse selector shaft does not turn. The reverse selector arm is turned as far as it can to the left and is resting on the frame of the quad. I'm guessing at this point it is wrong and that is why I cannot pull the reverse lever up to engage reverse?
When i bought the quad a few weeks back my buddy put in a new clutch for me. Is it possible to put the shaft in incorrectly and if so would it stop the quad from going into reverse?
