Hi -

My clutch was slipping so I replaced the clutch friction plates and the steel seperator plates. Got her all back together. It will run fine in reverse and 1st gear, but in any other gear it just revs up and doesn't move when I give it gas.

I am unable to turn the clutch adjuster bolt and the kick start also does not seem to be working.

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Thanks.

sounds like you got your clutch arm out of wack..take the cover back off..re-check the clutch disk..make sure you got them in the right order..while you got the clutch pack off..check your gear shift arm..it has the little round wheel that sets inside each grove when you shift gears..if you can't adjust the clutch from the outside..i'm betting you got something out of place...also..that would be a good time to check your kick starter..sounds like you didnt get the spring set right ?

If you can't turn the clutch adjuster bolt, then you must not have put something back together right.

I bet you didn't get the clutch arm back on right. It has a punch mark on it that you have to line up with a mark on the case.
