My father and I are digging the old quad out of the garage after being parked for the last decade or more. It was put away because of a strange chirping noise coming from the motor. We are not sure if it is the vavle train as it starts right up, and runs like a champ. motor seems to run with plenty of power, just not wanting to run it with this chirping sound. anyone out there have a similar experience or possibly know where this annoying cricket came from?? Thank you in advance

drain the oil out to see if anything is in the oil or drain plug wlcome to the honda family

well, started it up last night, sounds like the chirpinf and maybe a slight knock is coming from the left side of the motor near the top. tried to get a video , but my phone was not cooperating. taking it into American Wing here in Michigan for the mechanics to take a look at. hopefully it is something as simple as it sitting for awhile, and needing a valve adjustment. thanks for your warm welcomes and willingness to help
