1988 TRX300FW REAR SHOCKS

Please HELP I HAVE A 88 TRX300FW!!!! Will the 93-97 or newer rear shocks fit DIRECT TO MY 88 without MODIFICATIONS??????????

I read that the bushings are bigger or something like that and that it would need spacers or something!!!???? Not sure at all! Just want a new shock😭
