Yesterday, i fried my battery on the charger. Still had power to everything though and even started it. Went and got a new battery. Come back have no power to anything. Checked power to fuzes and nothing. I can pull start it and with my key off i can hear the starter try to engage. Could i have fried my harness?

Figure you mean 1998 , as they never had 450s in 88 ? Battery connected backwards or a wire in the wrong place ??

Yes my bad a 1998. Me being dumb hooked up the coil cable to the positive instead of the actuall positive. Thats what i get for not taking pictures before.

When you say coil , could you really be talking about the starter solenoid ? ----- the coil is under the fuel tank bolted to the frame
