What shafts are you referring to? Its a solid drive axle (beam axle). You could swap the whole assembly for an 87 as far as I'm aware. @shadetree @Goober this is your department lol

Hi,can we put 1987 Honda TRX 350 front shafts on a 1986 Honda TRX 350 ?
Thanks
I have not seen either removed but I would say no.
They are different part numbers, but I don’t know the specific differences. I plan to repack mine soon.

Check partzilla and Rocky Mountain parts sellers under “Knuckle.”

I am referring to the CV-shafts.
CV-shafts #42200-HA7-671 and 42300-HA7-671 for TRX 350 1986 are unavailable in all sites I have been checking for.
However,I have find 1987 CV-shafts in some sites,parts #42200-HA7-771 and #42300-HA7-771.
Here is the reason of my question.
Do someone ever have try it or modified those shafts to fit on the 1986 machine?

Using the mail to call this kind of mechanical part without having checked it, is like buying a lottery ticket.
