Just bought brand new spark plug and cleaned carb and everything. I go to electric start it and just hear the starter and little rumps. so i give it gas and it stops. Sometimes it'll start than the idle will just die off. Any ideas?

Was the carb pretty gunked up when you had it apart? Did fuel get rotten in it? If so, you'll need to flush out the tank and lines too. And likely clean the carb again... a good soaking in solvent is usually required along with compressed air to blow all the passages out. The choke has to be operational too. The FSM for your 200SX has all the specs listed to get it set up right.

Everything was clean i figured out that its the fuel line going from the tank to carb. I took off the tank, filters clean, line is clean, everything is clean but the line is dry. I can suck on the line and gas will come but as soon as i put it on the carb it stops flowing.

Remove the fuel valve and disassemble it. You will probably find rust or dirt somewhere in there. A long shot is the vent is clogged in your fuel cap.

Yep, as misterclean59 said, the petcock in the tank is clogged.

The petcock is brand new just bought it and when i take the tank off with petcock and line attached the gas comes out no problem. It stops flowing once i level the tank out.

I figured it out there are pebbles stuck in my tank...amazing...lol... but now Im gonna need a new filter since i found that it has slight tears in it... loving my clapped quad

Its probably not clapped out yet, very few ever are... It probably just needs someone who cares to fix it and maintain it properly. Few do nowadays. Why not is way over my head. Stupid I'd guess...?
