Hello everyone I'm having problems. I have a 1986 trx350 fourtrax. I've cleaned the gas tank, fuel lines, carb and then filled the gas tank full. I have a new battery fully charged. I'm getting spark but I'm not getting gas to the motor the plug is dry after cranking it over. I know there is gas getting to the carb it's just not getting to the motor. What is my problem?

have you checked the compression ?. checked the timing ?. checked the valves ?.

Slide the choke lever all the way to the left and try that. Did you follow the service manual 100% when you set up the carb after cleaning? Adjust cables too? Did you put any aftermarket parts in it?

Have you owned it long? Did it ever run for you? Did you do the fuel pump flow test—do you hear it buzzing?

When I crank mine cold, i set the choke, roll the throttle open and while I start cranking, I roll the throttle back to 1/3 open.

Will it sputter if you hit it with some starting fluid and then it dies immediately? If so I would think CDI is bad.
