My three Wheeler leaks oil from the seam around the casing beneath the hi low reverse shifter. I have removed all the bolts around it but it will not budge I would like to know if I am just missing something or is it just stuck on there

if all bolts are out ?, whack it with a rubber mallet. word from the wise !!!!!!!!!!!!, be very careful if and when you get that cover off !!!, it is a mess behind that cover, lots of tricky stuff. in other words..you better have a service manual to put it back together !!. there is a gasket on that cover, this gasket is very important !!!, you can not use rtv sealant on that cover !. I can't remember if the neutral shifting knob has to be pulled off before the cover will come off ??. it has a cir-clip on the front of the white knob..or did !..lol.
