I have a 1984 Honda big red that won't drive.
My 3 wheeler starts fine and goes into gear just fine but it will not move, even with full throttle. If I'm not sitting on it and I push it while holding down the throttle it starts moving. But it will not go faster than walking speed, and if i get on it while it's moving it stops. The engine doesn't cut off and it does stay in gear.
Does anyone have an idea of why it wont move?

You know about the clutch adjustment on side the case , I doubt it will do you any good at this point , no moving at all seems like it is long gone past adjustment

would think the oil has to be black with clutch material

I would agree with fishfiles, no unusual noises would suggest a worn clutch or a clutch that needs adjusting. There are many video tutorials available on YouTube that show how to correctly adjust the clutch, these may help you.
