was running perfect saturday. Started right up on sunday made it about 20 yards and stalled out like it ran out of gas. Getting strong spark and compression, pulled carb and its clean. Gas flows fine into the carb and float is ok. Getting good compression in the cylinder and when I put my hand over the intake it feels like its pulling in air. However it is getting no gas. If I crank it over with the choke on several times, then pull the plug, its dry. Sounds like a carb problem, but I tried the same thing with the carb removed, and spryed starting fluid into the intake while cranking it 6 or 7 times, same result, dry plug. Doesn't seem to have any obstructions in the intake and it does have intake suction. Didn't make any weird sounds just sputtered and died. Any ideas???? Spark / compression / good carb//

Did you check to make sure your pilot and main jets aren't plugged? You can have gas in the bowl but if your jets are plugged it won't go anywhere.

Carb is perfect. Pulled and it was clean. Removed and cleaned both pilot and main jets as well as all fuel intake line and overflows. Wondering if this is a valve problem , but compression is good and I have intake suction

It doesn't sound like valves to me. Definately sounds like gas but it seems like you've covered your bases. This is a tough one.

I just experienced the same exact issue with the same exact 3 wheeler! I replaced my fuel line and filter, cranked it up and rode it around the yard and it ran great, then it sputtered and died and now wont start. I pulled the drain screw on the bowl with the petcock open and fuel runs through it. I can only guess a piece of trash got in the pilot jet, or i lost spark. Will have to check it out after work. It has a new carb, but who knows, right? Darn thing is making me nuts. If it's not the stupid pull start it's something else!

i would say your float is sticking closed..as they can stick open..they can stick closed too..when this happends..you burn all your carbs gas up..then ..well..it dies. there is something wrong with gas not re-filling your carb up as your bike runs..this is what i think...also would check to see if any tiny trash is in the carb's bowl..it doesn't take very much to stop the jets up on these carbs.

humor me for a bit..i know you said your carb is clean and all..but..just for the heck of it..remove the gas cap off the tank..drive it around slowly !!!..and see if it dies again ???..i'm wondering if the gas cap is not venting ??.

Yep...same issue with me on the same 3wheeler.. it's been sitting for 6months now bc I couldn't figure it out... I sprayed starter fluid in mine and it would start .. then hit the gas and instantly sputter and die.. sometimes starter fluid would work . other times it wouldn't..
Who knows..it's all gotta be tied together.. all having the same damn issues and no one can pen point it...
