I've searched and searched, and at one point I thought I found a post on some weird obscure forum that was similar and said the issue was resolved in 13. I'm waving the BS flag high.
I'm not new to wrenching. But newer to smaller vehicles. Principles all the same right?
Anyways, so I adjust the front brakes on my sons Recon. One trip out, within 15 miles usually, and they need readjusting. I've done this countless times and I'm pretty sure I'm not that freaking inept. It doesn't matter what I do, they keep falling out of adjustment. Granted it doesn't take long to resolve. But I shouldn't have to do this. I said something to Honda right after I bought it, after having to adjust twice in a week or so, it was purchased new, they said oh well they didn't have anything on it.
Do you guys have any ideas on how to keep the blasted things adjusted?! It really doesn't have many miles on it. Maybe 200-250 in the two years we've had it. I've grown tired of this crap and looking for help.
Thanks in advance for anything you might be able to come up with.
