I just cleaned the air filter on my 2005 Honda 400ex with gasoline. I set it out in the sun to dry out. I put it back in, started the quad up and it was puttering. There was also whitish smoke coming out of the exhaust. What happened

White ish smoke would suggest water/steam, filter may not be properly dry.
