Someone may have recommended bel-ray for the wet clutch, which is fine as long as it says JASO-MA for the specs it meets, but that is for the MOTOR oil

For the front and rear DIFFERENTIALS, you need to use gear oil. But just make sure it says it is Hypoid gear oil, or needs to say it meets API GL-4 or GL-5 on the bottle. It can be a 80w90, 75w90, or even a 75w140 that I know some guys here use. Again, brand doesn't matter, can be bel-ray, amsoil, walmart supertech, etc. As long as it Hypoid, GL-4, or GL-5.

I’m glad you’re asking this question about a relatively new machine.

I use BelRay in the diffs and GN4 in the engine; because Honda and BelRay sponsor motorcycle racing—gives me confidence in their products. My friend uses Amsoil for same reason. As you go, you’ll pick up tips on other products.

As a rule, always use the manufacturer specifications and recommendations listed in the service manual—especially service intervals. If you don’t have a printed service manual you should get one.
