I knew i needed to adjust my valves...been making noise...would that let oil on the plug or am i looking at a complete top end rebuild?

No, valves being out of adjustment wouldn't cause that. Valve stem seals leaking or bad rings would cause that.

agreed ^^^^..valves won't let oil on your plug..valve guide seals..or worn oil rings will though !

wellllllll..errrrrrrr..ummmmm..unless you want to go buy a new motor ????..yeah..i would say your looking at a top end job/rebuild !..lol.
