I have an 09 Recon... and love it. I'm glad I bought it!!! Time for 1st oil change. No hi perf racing here, just use it a few days a week around the property. What should I use? Thanks to all.

I highly recommend the GN4 from Honda. It is recommended for all Hondas. I use it for racing and it does great!

Just Google "Honda GN4 Oil" you will find places to buy it. All Honda dealers sell it.

Yeah, Honda GN4 is the recommended oil. Whatever kind you use, just make sure it is designed for wet clutches or your clutch will go out.

If you want to go synthetic, I hear AMSOIL makes a good oil.

AMSOIL Formula 4-Stroke 0W-40 is a great oil - Resists Heat and Thermal Breakdown, Excellent For Transmissions (Wet Clutch Compatible), Superior Wear Protection, Anti-Foaming. Click the link for more info. Let me know if I can help with anything.
