07 Honda foreman 500 4x4

Just picked up a Honda foreman 500 4x4 needed a top end well I got all the stuff to rebuild it and weâ€™ll the guy has stuffed a rag under the piston and pulled the piston down on top of it to keep trash out but now I canâ€™t get the piston to come back up on it any help Iâ€™m lost itâ€™s not seized up I filled motor with marvels mystery oil to clean the inside with out pulling the motor apart like I did with my rancher but I canâ€™t get the piston up so I can get this rag out so I can rebuild it

Simple answer..... Needs a FULL MOTOR INSPECTION/DISASSEMBLY/REBUILD, END OF THREAD!

Sorry to be blunt and/or brutal but any sunk motor is as good as scrap unless fully stripped and inspected, especially after so many times!

All I can suggest is keep digging until that motor frees off.. If top end it can only be wrist pin (little end).. If you've got the top end removed then it can only be crank related unfortunately, regardless of previous work.

I'll say now, all established members on this forum DO NOT mess about, things are done properly or not at all, no half measures. You won't get a 'quick fix' answer here, it's all or nothing.
