Anybody know what clutch basket gear and drive gear to use to make a 15-35% gear reduction for my 07 foreman 500? Running 28" outlaw 2's, it does ok, but a gear reduction would be nice. I dont wanna pay the $650 for the rear gear reduction tho, and no one makes a front reduction like they do for the 450's.

I don't know if it will work on your 500 , I just installed a 300 clutch basket into my 2002 450 , it was a direct drop in , no welding required , 13% reduction -----I could talk with my buddy , he has an atv shop and is very knowledgeable with reductions and see what you can do with a 500

You must be looking at the highlifter reduction. Definitely go with reductionboss, I am running his work in all my bikes and its top notch. The 35% should be perfect for those tires.

Not sure if he does them for the 500 but you could try Jeremy Lee.
I see JL is now making a 74% for the 300’s now!! 44” tyres anyone...??!! Lol.

Gonna get reduction boss 35%....when i recoop money from the $2000 engine rebuild lol. I oicked this bike up with the brand new outlaws on 14" msa rims, whole bike is literally mint. Except motor. Ran it without oil for weeks i assume. New everything, held off on the reduction. Wanted to know how it did, its ok but a 35% would be perfect.
