I decided after a successful year of riding/racing and constant abuse to my quad it could use a frame off clean and rebuild. So i started to break down and have been taking pictures as i go. I will keep them all in order. And depending on my budget i may be getting some goodies along the way for it. Frame is being gusseted and powdercoated for sure though. (Not doing all this work for nothing lol)

Don’t take long to take apart do they, it’s when it comes to fitting them back together, fasteners/bolts/nuts/spacers, then paint/powder coat/grease/oil..... it’s endless lol

Your making good progress so far buddy

Oh yeah they blow apart easy as pie. I would say ive got about 2 hours tops in it as it sits. Going togeather is alot more meticulous for sure. Torque everything and loctite it all. Im gunna redo the whole wire harness while its apart also. Had alot of mud and water in the wire looms. Figure that cant be good in between the electical tape. But next is the task of wrapping up the frame and shipping it out. That is a task in itself finding a place to ship it for a reasonable price. Luckily its only going one state over from me so worst case scenario i could drive it myself.

Well guys i got my frame back from being powdercoated and gusseted. But so far i still cant post pictures to threads directly. I will post the picture of the frame to my album soon and post the link here like i have had to for this whole thread. I ended up just shipping it usps for 75 dollars to him. And then he got it shipped back to me for 60. Total cost for gusset, sandblast, and powdercoat was 300 bucks. Cant say enough good about mudmotorsports. Josh has been great along the way about answering all my questions. And i had alot lol.

Yeah for the amount of work and quality of it. I couldnt complain one bit. I gotta blow all the sand out of the gaps and things that made its way out in shipping and then i will snap some pictures. Welds look real good though.
