My lights come on fine and after a few minutes they shut off... If it sits for a few minutes they will come back on for a short time. I replaced the shift switch / lights switch on the handle bar.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

OEM Honda switches assembly or china knockoff?

If OEM check the lights fuse socket in the fuse box for corrosion and/or evidence of overheating. The fuse spades should fit tight in those terminal sockets.

If china knockoff put OEM switches back on.

Thanks for digging that thread up! Always dielectric grease every harness connector on the bike as soon as you bring it home, whether it is brand new or used. Honda does not waterproof any of them, never has and never will!

Im not the type to drown an expensive machine. I did disconnect the green connector and it was packed with corrosion. Im just going to cut it off and hardwire this thing. Just use it around our lake community and not much in the mud or water.

Ya don't have to get them wet though, thats my point. The connectors on Hondas are not sealed until the owner dielectric greases every one of them, whether new or used. Check your regulator/rectifier connectors next... those are usually the 1st or 2nd to fail. Best practice is to grease them all though, as soon as you take over ownership of the bike.

EDIT: The stator connectors are usually near the top of the failure list too. One at a time they fail... sooner or later each one will grant ya a long walk back home. :)
