Hey guys, new here. I recently came into an 05 Recon. Looks to have been used a good bit, not sat around. Appears to be bone stock.
I changed the air filter, oil, and put a new plug in it and it's still running really bad, if it does run. It was fouling plugs so I went one number hotter (DPR7EA-9), it ran for a minute, tried to blow the crap out of the spark arrestor, then died again. Put fresh premium in it with seafoam. The oil did smell like gas but it's not leaking any gas as if the float was stuck.
Ideas?
CDI box? (what is this?)
