Does anyone know where I can get the seal that fits in the spring on the impellar shaft for my 04 650 rincon water pump. The part is not listed on any of the oem sites that I have checked. I don't want to spend 150 bucks on a new water pump if I can rebuild the old one.

i just looked at the microfiche for your water pump..only seal i seen on the impeller shaft side is a o-ring that fits on the shaft.look like it does anyway..see if this link works for ya..it's from a local honda shop..but still should be able to get it anywhere..if it's what you need ?Honda NLR, Honda of North Little Rock, Arkansas Yamaha, motorcycles, scooters, atvs, side by sides, Rhinos, Big Red, used motorcycles and ATV's # 10 in the pic.

Yeah, I know what you mean. That is the same fiche that I have looked at on every other site. That O-ring seals the water pump to the block since the water pump is shaft driven. There is a rubber/plastic grommet that goes inside the spring that is on the actual shaft itself. Probably a .50 cent item that is going to end up costing me about 150.00. Irritating. Oh well, as I have said before, you gotta pay to play!!!!
