Hi,
I Have a 2003 rincon 650 that the tranny slips in 3rd gear. It works great in 1st, 2nd, and also in reverse. Has plenty of power no problems. It will pull the front wheels off the ground in first.
When it shifts to 3rd if your going up any kind of hill the bike will start slowing down. Almost to the point of stopping, but the engine speed stays high. If you change to the esp setting and shift to 2nd it will take off again, or if you stop and let the tranny shift to 1st it will go fine. Until it shifts to 3rd again.

changed the oil, put in new atv oil, just like it had before no difference.
Tried to retreive any codes, no codes listed.

Could it be the 2-3rd silenoid, or do you think the clutches could be bad?
Is there a clutch that can be adjusted?
any help would be appreciated. thanks

I don't know much about the Rincon transmission, but I don't think they have an adjustable clutch.

someone said that it might be the oil pump o rings. I looked at the layout for the tranny and it does take a lot of oil pressure to apply the 2-3 clutch.

Any idea's? and if so would you also replace the 2-3 clutches? if its been slipping do you think the clutches are junk?

I would say that if the clutches are slipping, then yes, they are history. At least that's the way it is on every other kind of clutch.
