I have a 03 Honda Rancher 350 ES that won't engage into any gear electrically. It will change gears manually. I just replaced the battery with a new one yesterday, and when I cranked it, it went into 1st gear, but no other gears. I turned it off, and restarted it, now it remains in neutral with the "N" flashing three times. Any help will be appreciated.

N flashing 3 times is angle sensor,get some electrical contact cleaner unplug sensor wireing spray it real good,dries fast,also get dilectric grease,fill plug with it,plug back in and see what happens. this fixed my sons,he had the same problem!

angle sensor is on lower front of engine,romove (2) 10mm bolts in cover,unplug,clean plug and sensor!

might be the same thing as with mine..I am not sure if N is flashing or what but I will check all the above and get back with you
