There are two guys rebuilding Hondamatics that I know of. Harig is in the northern lower Peninsula of Michigan and the other guy (forgot his username, he posted in that thread) is in Minnesota. If his CL ads are down he's probably running short of rebuildable cores.

As far as I have seen, Harig only rebuilt his own, and was advising others in doing theirs. The guy in MN used to advertise to get more cores, so one can only guess why he isn't advertising right now. I did have a short email conversation with the guy but he never gave me his contact info. Guess you just have to keep checking.

Any1 kno how I cud get ahold of the guy that rebuilds em?
The guy in Minnesota who rebuilds them posted in that thread I linked above. This post may have been his introduction? Hope you can get yours repaired. Stop running it immediately if you haven't already, because the further you push those trans during failure the less likely they'll be repairable.

Good find retro. I had missed over on the other site where the guy from MN actually had some posts. @Dudley1995, retro is 100% right, stop driving it immediately, join the other site and get in contact with brianb1263.

Actually, looks like he joined here about a year ago too but never made any posts Honda ATV Forum - View Profile: brianb1263 @brianb1263

I have a 2001 Rubicon that I bought new. The trans went last year and I have put off the repair. I am looking for someone to rebuild my trans or a trans that I can buy.

There used to be a guy in MN that would post ads on craigslist, same person referenced above. But I haven't seen anything from him in a long time.
