[02 honda]

ive got a 02 honda rubicon 500 and it will not shift at all...when you start the engine the gear position indicator and d1 d2 and esp starts flashing only when you start it ..it doesnt do it when the engine isnt running..whene you shift it it doesnt make a clicking noise or nothing...its like it aint getting no power too the electric shift..i put all new sensors in it... and a new computer....i dont know what else too do..i also checked the control motor with a 12 volt battery charger it works fine..you can put it in reverse and it runns like crap but doesnt pull..any help would be awsome...

welcome to the forums..i don't know much about the elec shift models..other than honda has had alot of recalls with the angle sensors in them..other than that..i have no clue what is wrong with your atv..someone else may know more about your ride.

Welcome to the forums. The Rubicon has the Hondamatic tranny and I don't know much about them, but it sounds like you need to retrieve the trouble codes. Here are the procedures and the codes.
