Needing advice on jetting my 02 foreman 450. Im about to put an HMF utility series exaust on it. Does this model need the dinojet kit for this exaust or can i just go to the dealership and get the main jet and if so anyone know what is the size I need and what is the stock size. Im going to get a K&N air filter as well. The bike is snorkeled as well. any info would help thank you. Or is a carb adjustment even nessasary on this model? Will it hurt the engine if i run it with the exaust change and not the carb adjustment?

It is probably going to run lean you will have to re jet the carb, don't know what size main you have now you can call HMF tell them what you have and they can tell you what size to start with then run it make sure its not poping or bogging and check your plug looking for a light tan color on the electrode white is lean and black is you know RICH hope this helps.

If your ride is snorkeled, I'm assuming you jetted to compensate for the loss of air coming through the pipes. Yes, you will need to rejet for a new pipe and filter. HMF should be able to get you in the right area. The only difference between a Dynojet kit and the individual jets you buy at the store is the number of jets you get. If you know what you need, go to the shop and by them. If not get the kit so you can trial and error.
