Ok. Tried out some tires on the 250x to see what would work best in snow.
Hauler Scat-Trak paddles
Sand Skate II paddles
Kenda brand tires off an old Big Red
-Sand paddles allowed me to go thru 12 inches of snow. When following any sort of already run path it was easy going. Con-plowed roads or shoulders rattled me to death, limited speed.
2. Old Kendas were perfect. I could trek down paths if I was careful and in the right gear, shoulders and roadway was a non issue. Con-anything over 8 inches of fresh or packed snow wouldn’t work.
