true . . . Mud Lites are 'some what' mud tires, but . . . the best thing they have going for them is weight, and they are 6-ply tires.

6 plys of what? They are as puncture proof as a wet paper bag. If all youíve ever owned is stock tires, than Mud Lites Iím sure would seem like great tires.....and Iím speaking of the ATís. The XLís are garbage too but in their own way. Either way neither is appropriate for the desert and dry ground . . .
They might be great in that marshy/muddy/wet desert ?

Well you didn't steer me wrong on the Mudbugs. What's wrong with the XL's?

I was looking at some thinking about trying them on one of these 300's

They donít clean out very well, wear quick, puncture easily. The big problem is how they wear, the fat part of the V lug wears first then it will start to tear the tips off the lugs, which occasionally will even tear the carcass of the tire and cause them to leak. Not really a problem on the ATís like on the XLís, because the ATís have such small lugs.

But other than that, they arenít that bad. They ride pretty decent and I think they are a good looking tire. About the only size Iíd consider would be 30ís for a 14Ē wheel, since the 30 on 12ís were well known to have weak sidewalls.

I was looking at a used set. Think I might stick with the TSL blems. Hard to beat $50/tire shipped for new tires.
