Bought New Plastics Lately??

I just received the new front and rear fenders for my Rancher 420. I am very disappointed in the quality of the front fenders. They have swirl marks and scratches in several places and a couple of small dents. Is this what I should settle for?? Is it possible to buy new OEM plastics that are in true new condition?

I ordered from Rockymountain and talked with them on the phone today. They are happy to replace the front fenders. I just wonder if the replacements will be any better.

Maybe send them a pic of what they sent you and have them send a pic of what they will be sending you ----shipping on plastic must have been a fortune ?

They did ask that I send pics on Monday when Warranty Department is open. I love the idea of having them send me photos of the replacements. I never thought of that!

Shipping was free! I ordered while they had their holiday deal. Otherwise, yes, it would have been more than I would have liked to pay.

I just bought plastics for my Rubicon and they had scratches and swirl marks. As much as they cost you would think Honda would have quality control. I guess they are trying to get even with us because of the trade tariffs.

It is a 2014FM. I can only image what the shipping to the US would cost. LOL. Thank you for your kind response!!

That answers my question. I suspected that quality control is an issue. Thanks for letting me know. The plastics seems very very soft compared to the older ones.

Wow! That's why I'm not sure what to do with my old fenders. The rear is a mess but the fronts aren't that terrible but even if I sell them super cheap who wants to pay that much for shipping! Probably best to put them on Craig's list and sell local.

For that, I'd consider driving myself to pick them up!
