Lightbulb 2017 420 rancher stalls in gear

Bike starts and idles fine. Once you put it in gear it and hit gas it will instantly die. Put 28" ITP mud lites on it few weeks ago and I've ran about 100 miles. No way the clutch would need adjustment already? and it's not a slipping issue, its an instantly dying issue. Oil is a little dirty but at proper level, I'm changing that tomorrow. I know these new DCT are very oil sensitive. I'm just hoping someone has one of those "OH this is it, it happend to mine" and it's an easy fix.

first off, welcome to the site
when you say oil is dirty, , do you mean has a few miles and hours on, or , was it suck and sucked in dirt??
two totally different things LOL

and sounds to me like, you MIGHT need to find someone with a programmer and turn up your idle!
I am sure you DON"T want to hear this, but running 28's on this atv is sure not being kind to it!
Ranchers geared higher than other honda 4x4's, now on full sized frames and that's asking a LOT of a small HP motor!
long life isn;t going to a deal here, just so you know!
NO offence meant, just honest info!

Cmorgan, you say "Once you put it in gear and hit gas it will instantly die." My question is what happens if you put it in gear and let it idle? Does it die under those conditions as well, or will it keep running until you hit the gas at some point?

It can barely idle in gear if at all. Oil has been changed, same issue still. Clutch adjustment maybe? Yes I understand the tires are a bit big. They are worn down mud lites (very light tire)

Thank you! A lot of interesting stuff on here! It was never swamped, just older oil.
