That's probably a good thing on the signature, sounds like you've got too many machines to list out anyway

I've switched plenty of older machines that had been using conventional oil over to synthetic with nothing but positive results. The risks come in if the older machine had been run with oil with poor additive package or had a lot of deposits built up, and then switching over to a synthetic with a quality additive package and it starts breaking up all the old deposits suddenly and starts clogging things. That's my understanding at least. Can happen with automatic transmissions that went way too long without atf being changed, once heavy deposits build you can cause damage by changing out with new atf which causes all the old deposits to let go at once. I have seen cases where when changed out just a couple qts at a time, the deposits dissolved out slowly and after doing that many times, the tranny got its 2nd life.

I'm sure it is KN-113. Got it from advance auto who cross referenced the wix #, and said they had it but when I got to the store and couldn't find it. Found one at another store though. Don't really like K&N but it's all I could find around me.
What other filters are you guys using for the 2004 450's?
