Interesting...! I wonder if that port was salvaged from an old shipwreck? Next question, was there someone trapped inside and viewable through that window, when the boat went down? :-)

You are right , you can kind of see my reflection in the straight on shot , but there is something else there and if you look at the pic taken from the side , you can still see something and it wasn't me cause I was off to the side ----Retro blew me away with " someone that went down with the ship " !

The limo tint would have to be on the outside as the inside glass looks like someone hit it with paint and it won't come off even with a razor knife scraper , I think it is going to have to be a mirror or a tropical picture

Universe communicates in mysterious ways, ehh? Just funnin' with ya fishfiles! I like that port hole, looks like solid brass. But from now on I'll never go underdecks unless the port holes are big enough fer' me to crawl through! LOL.

It is solid brass , and from researching the names on it , it's vintage is around 1945 and most likely a Liberty Ship -------------- there was a 1/4 inch thick , 2 inch long tube that stuck out the rear and I had to cut that off so it would sit flush on the wall , and 15 coats of paint , that took awhile ------- I never polished it

I never even thought of it being haunted

You're gonna be seeing something behind that port window every time ya glance at it fishfiles (queue The Twilight Zone theme music), if'n we don't all quit it. :-)

I think its a pretty neat wall hanger ya got there. Solid brass too! I don't believe in ghosts or hauntings. There's just universe and us humans creating all these pseudo-reality moments. Take that back... corp teevee suckers the majority of the population. LOL :-)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Like I was saying I had two from the same ship , gave $150 for both and I sold one to my buddy for $100 and he mounted it on his house boat he built that is docked in Venice , La , so I got mine for $50 , I see them on line go for quite a few hundred , just the brass valve I would guess $150 ---- I got to ask him if he been seeing anything , LOL

When I moved in the woods , the last house on a dead end road , I quit watching horror flicks and feel I am a much better person now LOL

I do believe in ghost , I have seen , heard and felt them ------ too may times in my life things have happened that are not explainable with science
